Chapter 21 He Will Wait Until Her to Be Willing
Chapter 21 He Will Wait Until Her to Be Willing
Jeffery bit Jane's neck and the slight tingling sensation woke her up. "Jeffery, don't do this."
She wanted to resist, but her hands were weak. She pressed Jeffery's chest trying to pushed him away
several times but he didn't move at all. Instead, he grabbed her wrist, his warm breath fanning her ear
that made her neck numb.
"Don't move. Be good." He coaxed her softly. His voice was hoarse with obvious desire.
"I......" Jane felt her body tense and did not dare to move. She tried to keep her brain awake and turned
her head to avoid Jeffery's gaze. "I'm sorry, I'm not ready."
Her words successfully made the man pressing on her froze.
He looked down at her and stopped speaking. He took no further step, but his hot breath kept Jane's
heart pounding.
"Please..." She pressed her body tightly against her, maintaining her state of self-defence. She was
afraid Jeffery would find an opportunity as soon as she relaxed.
"Don't look at me with such pathetic eyes." He sighed, turned, and lay down beside Jane. He pulled the
quilt beside him to tuck them both in. "I do not have the hobby of forcing a woman."
As the tension disappeared, Jane relaxed a little. Just as she was about to move toward the bed,
Jeffery held her. "Where else are you going?"
"Just uhm......" Content rights belong to NôvelDrama.Org.
She wanted to explain something to relieve the awkwardness, but as soon as she opened her mouth
Jeffery put his clean and beautiful fingers to her lips. "You need not say anything. I will give you time
until you are ready to accept me."
Jane was silent, she did not know how to answer him for a moment.
Jane is a relatively conservative girl. She always felt that they had just met. They seemed to be moving
a little too fast
"Sleep, we have work to do tomorrow." Jeffery reached for her waist and held her in his arms.
Their bodies lay close together. Separated by two layers of thin silk pajamas. She could clearly feel the
warmth of his body and felt a little uncomfortable. Just as she was about to move her body, she heard a
warning from someone above her head. "Do not move or I will eat you."
"Can not you be a little sensible?" murmured Jane in a low voice. Her heart was beating wildly and her
palm was wet with sweat. If she had not surreptitiously pinched her palm to calm her senses, she
would have feared something had happened.
Jeffery lowered his head and kissed Jane's forehead. He smiled and said. "I need not be reasonable
with you."
As if to comply with his words, the hands that was hugging Jane's waist became restless again. So she
quickly reached out to hold him, her face turning red.
Jeffery said not a word, and held her tightly in his arms. After a long day she was actually tired. Now
she is completely relaxed and gradually begins to lose consciousness.
He did not even notice when he fell asleep. Jeffery looked at her and took several deep breaths before
quietly getting out of bed and going to the bathroom. He was afraid he would not be able to control
himself and attack the gentle woman who was fast asleep.
When Jane woke up, Jeffery had already gone to the company ahead of time. He asked nanny Wu to
tell her that the company had a meeting and he would have lunch with Jane at noon.
The driver took Jane to the company and put her down one intersection ahead of time. When Jane
entered the company, she felt the strange gaze of the people around her, which made her wonder if
she had something on her.
"Jane, hold on."
Jane heard someone call her name from behind, when suddenly her arm was pulled. Turning around,
she saw her colleague. The one who had poured her coffee smiled at her and said. "Jane, I was
wondering... Do you have time?"
"What's the matter?" Jane frowned and took a step back to keep a safe distance between them. She
prevented the woman from doing anything that might embarrass her again.
Unexpectedly, however, she clasped her hands together and apologized, feeling very ashamed. "It was
all my fault, Miss. Carter. Yesterday was all my fault. I'll take you out to dinner, you can order whatever
you want. But please do not be angry with me."
"There is no reason for it." Jane declined and turned to go to the elevator.
But her colleague ran after her.
She followed Jane into the elevator and eagerly helped her push the button.
The others in the elevator also felt as if they had seen ghosts. When they saw Jane enter, the crowd
immediately made room for her. The originally crowded room is now only free for Jane.
"Good morning, Miss. Carter." Everyone greeted Jane with a fake smile on their face.
Jane smiled and bowed in response. She was not used to the sudden attention from her colleagues.
These guys who humiliated her yesterday are now like boobs. She did not know where the sudden
kindness came from.
She went to the secretary's office on the top floor and was ready to work, but then her cell phone rang.
The caller ID displayed a series of unknown numbers. As Jane picked up the phone, Larry's voice on
the other end answered, "Jane, come out and meet me. I have something to tell you."
"What's the matter? Just say it over the phone." Jane's tone was a little cold. She had already blocked
Larry's phone number. But he managed to contact her again. Could it be about yesterday's event, had
not they caused enough trouble already?
"I can't make it clear on the phone."
"There is no need for that, we have already parted. Do not bother me if you have nothing else to do."
After finishing her short speech, Jane hung up.
But not long after, Larry sent a text message. "If you do not want to come, I'll look for you at the
company. I know you do not want to cause a stir in the company. If your colleagues find out, I am sure
you'll be embarrassed, and besides, Jeffery would probably freak out."
Jane clutched her phone and shook with rage. How could she not have realised before how shameless
Larry really was.
"Jane." At some point Jeffery came out of the room. He walked up to Jane. She looked very troubled.
He reached out to comfort her and asked, "Are you all right?"
"Oh, it's nothing, Mr. President?" Jane evades his question. They are still in the company and it's not
good to be seen by other colleagues. Fortunately, everyone was busy with their work.
Jeffery asked no further questions. He hid his hands in his pockets and said, "Come with me."
"Mr. Pres..." Before Jane could say anything, her phone rang again. It was still from Larry. She
hesitated, but said anyway, "Mr. President, I have something important to do. I want to ask for a leave,
and will return when I have finished my business."
Without waiting for Jeffery's reply, she grabbed her bag and hurried out. She entered the elevator and
took Larry's call. "Send me the location."
"Come to Windsor Club I'll be waiting. If you don't show up, I will find you at the company. You know the
consequences." Larry still didn't forget to threaten Jane.
