His Eagle Eyes on Me

Chapter 3108

"Should I call you by your name, then? Lucas?"

Lucas instantly felt chills run down his spine. "I guess you should stick with Mr. Woods."

Ivy smiled. "I don't have your phone number, so why don't we exchange numbers? That way, I inform you when the food is ready."

"Do you have to do this?"

"I have nothing else to do, and I'm bored."Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org exclusive © material.

"You can go home," he said.

"I will, in a few days. You don't have to remind me. I will definitely go home."

"What exactly do you take my place for? A cafe where you can just come and go as you please? I hate people like you who don't understand boundaries."

"You said that the last time as well, but you still gave me the keys to your apartment anyway," she said.

Lucas parked his car in the parking lot, and both of them got out.

"What do you want to eat for lunch, Mr. Woods? I'll prepare it and take it to your company!" Ivy walked over to Lucas and said, "I washed the sofa covers for you, so I need to check if they've dried. If they have, I'll put them back on."

Listening to her chatter, Lucas frowned. "Do your family know that you're in Taronia?"

"Yes."

"Do they know you came here to see me?"

"Yes."

"Why doesn't your family keep an eye on you?" Lucas was confused. "If my daughter acted like you, I'd give her a good scolding."

Ivy was speechless.

They entered Lucas' home, and Ivy lay the food in front of him. She then walked out to the balcony, checking the sofa covers.

Feeling the covers, Ivy said, "Mr. Woods, the sofa covers are a bit thick, and they're not dry yet."

"Why are you telling me they're not dry? It's not like I can dry them immediately using magic," Lucas retorted.

Ivy laughed and came back inside.

Lucas did not argue with her.

At the hotel, Archer received a call from Avery.

"Archer, when are you and Ivy coming back?" Avery asked.

Archer hesitated. "Didn't you ask Ivy about it? She didn't tell me anything."

"I didn't want to bother her with my constant calls. What is she doing right now?" Avery inquired.

"Probably went to see Lucas. I saw her leaving when I was having breakfast in the hotel restaurant," Archer replied.

"Why didn't you go with her?" Avery asked.

"She didn't want me to follow her. She's more familiar with this place than I am Besides, from what I've observed, she doesn't seem to have any other business here except meeting Lucas. If anything happens to her, she can just get Lucas to help her," said Archer confidently.

Avery frowned. "I can't let anything happen to her."

"Don't worry, she should be fine. I've met Lucas, and from what I've gathered, he isn't interested in ber. He won't do anything to her," Archer said reassuringly.

"Are you sure Lucas doesn't like Ivy?" Avery asked.

"Yes! That guy is a bit aloof. He's not talkative at all. Ivy seems to be the one pursuing him, and he's giving her the cold shoulder," Archer explained.

Avery sighed. "I really want to meet this Lucas guy, and see what Ivy sees in him."

"He's just an ordinary guy. He's not even as handsome as Robert!" Archer remarked.

"Surely, he must have his redeeming qualities, or Ivy wouldn't be so into him," Avery said.

"Don't bother checking him out. Ivy said she'll leave in a couple of days, and she won't be returning again," said Archer.
