Uncle's Love: My Sweet Little Wife

Chapter 217 Kara, I Won't Force You

Chapter 217 Kara, I Won't Force You

Kara was in a nightmare that she was locked up in the small black room.

One hand gripped her neck in the darkness and she could not make a sound.

That hand had long nails, and the nails dug into her neck, making her neck bleed continuously.

She was painful.

She struggled desperately, but when she broke free of one hand with all efforts, a few more hands

reached out in the darkness to grab her.

Suddenly, she heard James' voice in a daze.

A deep voice with powerful strength gave her the courage to fight back.

"Kara, don't scare me. Wake up please."

His voice was heavy with a little hoarse.

"You can't lie to me. You said that you would be the best flower. Wake up quickly if you can hear me."

James became impatient and lost his temper. He tightened his arms and tried to wake her up.

"Kara, I agree if you want to negotiate with me. Don't you want to call me Uncle James?"

"I will allow you to call me Uncle James as long as you wake up, okay?"

She still did not react after his fury. James only had to beg her.

James had never begged anyone so humbly. But at this moment, he only wanted to beg her to stop

sleeping.

He couldn't bear that she lay so quietly.

It was not easy for him to find a woman who made him comfortable in this life. He couldn't imagine his

future life without her.

"Kara, please wake up, okay?"

Hearing James' voice, Will turned to look at him and find there were tears in his eyes. Will was

shocked.

James was crying!

His hands were also a little cold. Kara wouldn't die, right?

But he suddenly found that Kara's fingers moved.

He quickly got up to the bed and tested her pulse and heartbeat.

"Hurry up, James, she is weak now. I need to inject her with medicine."

"What happened to her?"

James was puzzled by his sudden action. He hugged her tightly.

When Will injected the medicine into her body, he found that her fingers seemed to have a physical

reaction and hooked her pinky.

Will was surprised and quickly tested her physical stats again.

After a few minutes, Kara's eyelashes trembled, and she finally opened her eyes.

"Thank God, she's finally awake."

Will had always been an atheist, but he could not help but sigh at this moment.

He wanted to thank God for waking her up.

"Kara."

Noticing her lifeless eyes, James called out to her.

Kara turned her head and looked at his handsome face. Her big eyes gradually focused.

"Uncle James, I'm scared," she said as she hugged him.

"I'm here. Don't be afraid."

Hearing Uncle James from her, he felt sad and helpless.

Perhaps the former Uncle James was the one who could protect her most.

The current James was not giving her a sense of security, but a sense of unease.

Will was relieved to see her wake up.

The injuries on her body could recover with continuous medicine, but her mental state needed to be

adjusted.

James canceled his work and stayed with Kara in the hospital.

"Uncle James, you can't leave."

Kara drank the medicine with calming the effect during lunch break. Although she was sleepy, she still

held James' big hand and was worried that he would leave.

James could only hold her little hand back and lay on the bed with her.

The bed was not big, and it was a little crowded with two persons, but Kara did not care. She moved

sideways to let him lie down.

She found a comfortable position under his arm out of habit and listened to his steady heartbeat. Then

she fell asleep in peace.

James touched her little head and combed her hair.

He was exhausted. He didn't sleep last night with complicated emotions.

But he was not sleepy at all as he hugged her.

He had experienced the feeling of regaining. It was not very good.

He hoped that he would not experience it again in his life.

Kara slept until the next morning. But she did not see James when she woke up. She was in panic and

jumped up from the bed.

"James," She called.

No one responded. She frowned with fear.

"Uncle James, Uncle James."

James was talking to Nolan outside. When he heard the sound, he immediately turned around.

When he entered the room, he saw Kara was staring at him with tears in her eyes.

He ached for her.

"Why didn't you wear shoes?"

He quickly walked up to her and picked her up.

"Uncle James, I thought you left me."

James lowered his head and kissed her forehead. "Little fool, I only want you, ok?"

Kara wiped her tears and sobbed as she hugged him.

"Promise me, Uncle James. Don't leave me, okay?"

James touched her little head with clenched fists, silently comforting her.

"Kara, you forgot that we had gotten married. We will be tied together forever." James clenched his fists

and reminded her.

He felt she was frozen for a few seconds in his arms, then rubbed as nothing happened.

"Kara, I allow you to call me Uncle James, but you have to remember that I am your husband!"

James had worked so hard for so long, and he did not want their relationship to go back to the former

one because of her fear.

Kara remained silent to show her silent resistance.

James closed his eyes and suppressed his anger.

He could only endure his temper because of her unstable emotions.

"Are you hungry?"

"Yes."

Kara finally replied, but she still hugged him tightly.

James rubbed his forehead and asked Nolan to open the lunch box and place the food.

He didn't like the food outside. Their food was prepared by Libby and Mason sent them here.

After lunch, Kara saw the good weather outside and wanted to go out for a walk.

James asked Will first to make sure that she could go out. Then he took her to the small garden in the

hospital.

The two walked all the way, and Kara sat down in a wooden chair by the pool, looking up at him

slightly.

The man stood against the light. The sun was above his head, as the dazzling light of his own to attract

all people.

"Uncle,"

She wanted to call him Uncle James instinctively, but thinking of his warning, she reminded herself to

face reality.

"James, sit down."

James walked up to her by one step and held her up easily. He sat down on her seat and put her on his

lap.

"James, let me down."

Kara was a bit embarrassed with many people coming and going. She wanted to come down but his

arms circled her.

"Kara, I told you that I wouldn't force you."

Hearing his words, Kara gave up struggling and looked at him in surprise.

She sat on his knees, and they looked at each other on the same level.

When a relationship developed into a deadlock, it was hard to tell right and wrong.

But he could not bear to see her suffer any grievance.
