Unrivaled Dragon Lord

Chapter 96 To Fight Back

Chapter 96 To Fight Back

Dous turned his head and saw a man who had somehow appeared beside him. The man was leaning

against the office wall, with his head down and lit a cigarette. Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g

The man slowly exhaled a puff of smoke and looked over at Dous. His deep eyes were fixed

meaningfully on Dous.

"Who are you? Someone come and get this man out of here!" Dous stood up and shouted at outside.

"You are calling your losers? Do you think they'll respond to you?" Maxwell puffed the cigarette and

smiled faintly.

"Who are you? What did you do to them?" said Dous sharply, his face hardening.

"They were so sleepy, so I let them sleep for a while." Maxwell said dryly.

"When did you get in, and who are you?" Dous waved his hand and let the secretary out and closed the

door.

Maxwell chuckled, sat down across from Dous's desk, and stared at him with a deep, interested stare.

"Mr. Lloyd, you are so busy that you forgot who we are after you troubled us."

"It's you..." Dous thought Maxwell was familiar. He took a close look at Maxwell and suddenly

remembered who he was.

"Aren't you flirting with Ms. Greta? Why did you have time to come to me?" Dous was relieved to find

out who Maxwell was, and sneered.

"Ms. Greta and I have some issues with your news and would like to discuss it with you and make

some corrections." Maxwell looked calm and spoke indifferently.

"There's nothing to discuss," said Dous with a sneer and he waved his hand. "Go back and tell Ms.

Greta that my news is accurate, that there is no false rumor and that it does not need to be corrected."

Maxwell narrowed his eyes, "You decline me so readily? Are you sure you are not going to think it

twice?"

"Why? My paparazzi have already photographed you and Ms. Greta being together, but I've been

taking into account Ms. Greta's reputation, so I didn't release the pictures, but that doesn't mean I don't

make money, "Dous said leisurely, "I'm a businessman, and I'll deal with anyone who offers a higher

price."

"I see. It seems that Mr. Andreas made you a very good offer." Maxwell understood what he meant.

"It's not just the money. The most important thing is he is the second master of the Sandoval family in

Beijing. If I don't help him, I might offend him." Dous refuted with a smile.

"If you don't publish it, I'll pay you twice as much as Mr. Andreas." Maxwell thought for a moment, then

spoke slowly.

"The price is not the problem. The problem is that you are not Mr. Andreas," Dous waved his hand

impatiently, "Go away. There's nothing to discuss."

Maxwell frowned, and his eyes got cold. "Mr. Lloyd, you can propose any terms. But you'd better not to

refuse my advice."

Dous stared at Maxwell for a moment, then laughed, "Who are you? Do you think you're Mr. Andreas?

Get out of here, or else I'll let the whole China know about your affairs."

Dous didn't take Maxwell seriously, even though Maxwell's offer was generous. In Dous's eyes,

Maxwell's identity and status were far inferior to Mr. Andreas's. So why did he want to be friendly with

such a person?

In Dous's opinion, Maxwell was just one of Greta's flunkies. Naturally, Dous would not listen to what a

flunky said.

Dous grew increasingly impatient. Finally, Maxwell's eyes were cold. "Mr. Lloyd, it's your choice."

"What's wrong with the choice I made? It's none of your business! What can you do to me?" Dous

wrapped his arms around his chest and snapped, "You are nothing compared to Mr. Andreas. Why

should I listen to you?"

"Indeed, but you'll regret it in a minute." Maxwell said calmly and sarcastically.

Dous seemed stung by Maxwell's remark and laughed. "Well, I'll wait for one minute. I'll see who will

feel regretful!"

"Shit! I've got so much information about you and Greta. Any photo would send you into gossip! What

qualities do you have to argue with me?" Dous took out a USB flash drive from the drawer and said

proudly, "You are all under the control of my paparazzi. I advise you to apologize to me at once.

Otherwise, I'll ruin Greta's reputation in a minute!"

Dous was proud and confident. The USB flash drive was enough to destroy Maxwell and Greta and

drive them out of Ocean City.

Maxwell took out his phone, sent a text message, and then calmly looked at Dous.

"Ten, nine, eight..." Soon Maxwell began to count the time, and Dous's face grew more and more

sullen.

‘Shit. How could a man be so shameless?'

"Well, that's what you sought." Dous sneered and was ready to insert the USB flash drive into the

computer. But suddenly, the phone suddenly rang.

Dous picked up the phone, and his complexion changed!

"No, it can't be." Dous kept shaking his head, looking shocked.

Dous trembled. The news shook him as strongly as the sudden announcement of bankruptcy by a

company in the height of its glory.

Dous was trembling fiercely, and he couldn't believe it.

After hanging up the phone, Dous sat down. His legs were weak and his face was glazed with

incredulity.

"Well, Dous, regret it?" Maxwell still looked as calm as he was just now.

"How could you do that? My company is so big. How could you buy it!" Dous looked venomously at

Maxwell and clenched his fists, trembling with rage and excitement!

"Your company just dominates Ocean City," Maxwell said, "There are many companies more powerful

than you."

"You..." Dous looked extremely ugly. He couldn't accept the fact that the phone call was to inform him

that Urban Media had been forcibly acquired!

It caught him off guard and made him hard to believe!

What he couldn't believe actually happened to him!!

"I don't believe it. You're just a kept man. Even Greta can't have the ability to buy it!" No matter how

angry Dous might be, Maxwell remained calm and unhurried.

Dous was unwilling to give up! How could he have imagined that that was what Maxwell meant!

"I am now officially firing you as the company's largest shareholder and president." Maxwell said lightly.

"No. You can't do that!" Dous's legs were weak. He regretted it now! He wished he had not refused

Maxwell's offer, so that nothing would happen and he would not lose anything!

"Go away." Maxwell spoke calmly, looking at him with a playful look.

"No. I still have it. I still have it..." Dous suddenly remembered something and frantically searched the

desk for it.

"Looking for this?" Maxwell asked dryly, clutching a USB flash drive.

Dous glanced at it and Maxwell smiled, "I'm sorry," he said, "Your only recourse is gone."

With that, Maxwell snapped USB flash drive.

Dous sat down on the office chair, and his face looked pale.

Maxwell released his hand and the USB crumbled to pieces in Maxwell's hand.

"What are going to use to threaten me now?" Maxwell said ironically, and sneered at Dous!

From beginning to end, Maxwell did nothing! But in a twinkling of an eye, the company he had worked

so hard to build was given away!

How ironic it was! Dous couldn't imagine how much money Maxwell had so that he could buy a

company at will...

"Mr. Kirk, I was wrong. Please give me another chance!" Dous suddenly made a difficult decision. His

eyes were fixed on Maxwell, and he said with an appealing look, "Mr. Kirk, I don't mind even if I am just

a cleaner here. I created this company and I don't want to leave it."

Maxwell looked calm and unmoved.

Dous gritted his teeth and suddenly stood up, making a move that even Maxwell didn't expect!

Dous trembled a bit, and then knelt on the ground, and kowtowed to Maxwell!

"Mr. Kirk... I was wrong. I won't do that next time!" Dous was trembling, and apologized with sincerity!

Maxwell stared at Dous indifferently.

Dous hit his head on the floor, and the dull thud spread to Maxwell's ears.

Maxwell pondered for a moment. He just bought the company off the cuff, but he didn't have the time to

manage it.

He had much housework to do at home. How could he have the time to manage these stupid things?

Thinking of this, Maxwell said slowly, "I'll give you one more chance. Send these photos and video on

the Internet. I want them to be more popular than our news." Maxwell placed a USB flash drive on the

desk. When Dous looked up, Maxwell had walked out of the office.

"As for the destiny of this company, it depends on your performance." A cool but unmistakable voice

came from outside, which made Dous shudder inside.

Dous returned to his office chair, took a deep breath, and checked what it was in the USB drive

Maxwell had given him.

Numerous pictures and videos leaped to his eyes and Dous was shocked!

Dous immediately understood what Maxwell was thinking, but he was completely horrified by Maxwell's

idea!

Maxwell was going to fight back!

Dous's hand trembled slightly as he held the mouse. If these videos were sent out, it would not only be

Ocean City, even Beijing would be frightened!
