Chapter 110

Chapter 110

Mikayla read the message a few times to confirm that it was sent by Jerome.

What’s wrong with him?

Despite knowing that she was mocking him, he came to ask her that?

Since he was trying to pick a fight with her, Mikayla didn’t back down.

She replied, “The doctor thinks your condition is serious, you better see a neurologist.”

Jerome was typing on the other end, but no response came from him for a while.

At the same time, Michael sent her the address for the barbecue, so Mikayla turned off her phone. Nôvel/Dr(a)ma.Org - Content owner.

After bidding farewell to Betty, Mikayla drove to a park.

Michael and his group had already arrived.

They laid out some blankets and set up some tables and chairs.

They had prepared plenty of drinks and snacks

There was a barbecue griller not far away.

Someone from the light the grill to start cooking.

They looked young and energetic.

Even though they were doing these tedious tasks, they were happily laughing and talking.

“Miss, this way!” Michael saw her and waved enthusiastically.

He was full of youthful spirit and energy.

Seeing this, Mikayla’s mood was immediately lightened, as if she had become a few years younger.

Several of them who were busy cooking also looked at her.

“You’re the pretty lady who helped Michael before?”

“You’re so stunning! Even more so than many celebrities I have seen!” <

“That’s right. The lady Michael talks about every day can’t be bad!”

“Stop talking nonsense!” Michael hurriedly stopped them. “Don’t listen to them, Miss. They love to joke.”

Seeing Michael explaining himself nervously, Mikayla brushed her hair with a serious expression.

“I’m indeed beautiful and kind! They are not joking!“–

Everyone was amused by Mikayla’s intentional narcissism, while Michael embarrassedly scratched his head.

“I wasn’t talking about that”

That little joke instantly livened up the atmosphere, and Michael introduced several members of his band to Mikayla.

She greeted each of them, and expressed her thanks to Kenny, the computer expert who helped her last

time.

“I owe you one big time for helping me earlier. Thank you so much.”

“It’s nothing. The pleasure is mine.”

Mikayla stopped being polite and announced, “I brought everyone some drinks and snacks. It’s too heavy, so I need some help carrying it.”

“Thank you, Miss!”

Michael and Kenny volunteered to carry them.

As they approached the parking lot, Kenny exclaimed when he saw her car.

“Miss, the color of your Maserati is really cool!”

Mikayla smiled.

“You have good taste!”

Kenny’s definitely much more talkative than Jerome.

While Michael and Kenny were busy unloading. Mikayla headed to a restroom nearby.

The park was beautiful.

Even the restroom was surrounded by flowers, making her feel as if she was in a magical forest.

After using the restroom, Mikayla wanted to meet up with Michael and the others at the barbecue area.

However, she heard the voices of men complaining nearby.

“Jensen, why did you call us to this park? What’s the point of coming here? It’s not as interesting as a bar.”

“That’s right! Though those ladies over there are pretty good–looking, they’re probably too entitled to give

a hoot about us.”

Hearing Jensen’s name, Mikayla couldn’t help but look toward the direction of the voices.
