Hello, CEO! Don’t Play With Me!

[57]

Not much has changed in all of Giselle’s activities. She is very busy at times, especially when working under popular brands. Most of them want an impact that matches Giselle’s fame in the public domain. This includes her busy schedule helping Harvey and Justin prepare for Monochrome even though they don’t see eye to eye. There are many things that she can do while completing her schedule. Even so, Giselle misses her best friend quite a bit.

“In two hours, The Collage is coming for an interview,” Irena informed him as she brought some files for Justin to check. His boss was really busy eating a lot of reports and a few times, his temper got out of control. It was only natural that Justin would get a little provoked by some things that were quite trivial but if ignored, could cause quite a big problem.

One of them was the rumor of Harvey’s presence in the SEO space. But thanks to Justin’s ingenuity and a few favors that couldn’t be taken for granted, all the problems were solved. And Harvey was quite cooperative throughout the preparations.

Giselle, who had been sifting through the shipment of local brands, stopped her movements. “Harvey is still on his way here, right?” she asked with bright eyes. It had been almost two weeks since she had seen Harvey due to his busy schedule. Their communication was only through chat or phone calls, but when it came to the rehearsal and some deliberations about the dress model Justin had made, they could have a lively conversation. Several times he also gave Justin input, especially on the cut of the dress that was currently circulating in the community.

Giselle can’t deny that Justin’s designs are unique and have their own characteristics. But as a business person who wants to continue to be loved by his fans, it is necessary to touch on what is being loved by the wider community.

“Yes.” Irena laughed but then sighed softly. “Can you guys please not make a scene?”

“Do you think I’m a child?” asked Giselle with a frown on her face. “Where’s Brina? I haven’t seen her since I came here.”

“She was talking to Nico about Harvey’s training.” Irena sat next to Giselle. Observing the girl who seemed to be ignoring the delivery for her. “Didn’t you promote this product a while ago?”

“Yes.” Giselle laughed cheerfully. “Shusui Make up’s Marketing Manager called me personally. Thanked me profusely because the promotion really worked. Their sales went up thousands of percent.”

“Thank goodness.” Irena smiled sincerely. She was happy for the achievements Giselle had made in her work. As a powerful influencer, Giselle’s name was widely considered for cooperation offers. The more offers that came in, the more revenue that came in for SEO. “And this is a gift from them to you?”

“There are some new products. Since I’m still under contract, I still have to promote them, right?”Property © of NôvelDrama.Org.

Irena nodded in understanding. “Alright, I’ll see Justin first. If you have trouble thinking of a promotion concept, Hans will always help you.”

“That’s clear.” Giselle gave a thumbs up. Letting Irena leave her who was still faithfully waiting for Harvey’s arrival. There was so much she wanted to talk about because having a friend as fun as Harvey, there was no such thing as a dull conversation.

Meanwhile in the meeting room, Justin was still tweaking some of the pieces after getting feedback that he could accept. he also felt that there was something missing in Monochrome in the final design. Justin was slightly distracted by a knock on the door and when Irena appeared, he could breathe a sigh of relief.

“How’s the media going out there?” asked Justin without looking back at his assistant. His hands were already busy refining the design before asking for it to be turned into reality.

“I think Mr. Andrew’s influence is really amazing. no media dares to show gossip about Harvey anymore.”

Justin gave a small grin in response. “Good.”

“Regarding the show that will be held in one month, both the venue, invited guests, what events will be held, and some special invited guests have confirmed their willingness to attend the event. The production of some of the best-selling dresses has been doubled to avoid a backlog of orders.”

Justin nodded in understanding at what Irena reported.

“Harvey’s training was also without problems. Since he was involved in modeling before, it was not difficult to get him used to the SEO atmosphere.”

“Maya’s agency is still acting up?” Justin put down his pencil. He was very satisfied with the result. “Take this sketch to production. They already know where to make improvements.”

“Okay, boss,” said Hans, who had been in Justin’s meeting room. Some notes were scattered on the table in the center of the room, but it didn’t matter. Hans would continue with the rest of his work in a moment. He prioritized his business with the production department. After all, he only gave Justin the sketch sheet.

The production team was extremely busy for the big night. Justin didn’t want any extra problems during the making of his masterpiece. He often intervened, but there were some parts that were reserved for his production assistants.

“Nothing. Harvey never complained about the disturbance in his apartment.”

Justin sighed softly. “Harvey is different from Giselle, Irena. Giselle wouldn’t hesitate to tell me anything. Not Harvey. He never complains about the distractions that come his way.”

Irena’s eyes widened in disbelief. “Then I’ll have to make sure myself.” She prepared to contact the apartment where Harvey lived.

“Make sure that girl doesn’t know what you can do, Irena. Harvey’s head is as hard as a rock but he’s the best fit for what I want.”

“It’s done.” Irena laughed. “By the way, have you been busy working? Didn’t you say hello to Giselle at all?”

Justin was silent.

“Seeing her enjoying herself without bothering you amazes me. Is Giselle really being possessed by a ghost, or has her mind matured a bit?”

Justin chuckled. “No, he doesn’t. He just knows when to bother me at the right time. Not at a time like this.”

“Yes-yes-yes.” Irena shrugged. “You do know what Giselle is like best.”

Irena’s words just now made Justin stare intently at his assistant. Which made Irena look surprised and stare back at her boss no less intently. “You… what’s wrong?”

The man shook his head immediately. “Go on. Do your part.” He tidied up his drawing tools. “Please call Giselle to this room.”

“Okay!” Irena rushed out of Justin’s room.

Meanwhile, Giselle was still engrossed in the products that she would later promote on her social media pages, as well as some special promotional account posts managed by SEO. She arrived three hours earlier than the appointed time. Not only was she looking forward to meeting Harvey, but she also wanted to meet Justin and talk. When he arrived earlier, they had exchanged news and chatted about Monochrome.

But afterward, Giselle was left alone. She realized that Justin was a busy man. But still… she missed him.

“Giselle,” Irena called, smiling broadly.

“It’s like you just won the lottery.” Giselle spluttered. “The stuff in the box, I’m still using. The rest is for you. There are still many similar products that I haven’t used at all.”

“Are you serious?” asked Irena with sparkling eyes. The Shusui brand is indeed famous for its efficacy in their cosmetic ingredients. Not to mention, the Shusui name soon became famous in addition to attracting big influencers like Giselle, the prices they offered were relatively low.

As we all know, you want good quality at the lowest possible price, and Shusui delivers both. It’s no wonder that the brnad immediately garnered great attention from the fairer sex in the country.

“Yes.” Giselle chuckled. “By the way, what did you call me?”

“Ah,” Irena tapped her forehead lightly. “You called Justin into his office.”

Giselle got up immediately. She walked rather quickly to the room where Justin was working. There was no need to wait for Irena, who was now rather busy lifting the things Giselle had given her.

“You were looking for me?” she asked Giselle with a look of excitement. Her hand pushed quickly at Justin’s glass-fronted door. Where the man seemed to be relaxing, sitting back with a cigarette between his fingers.

“How was your day in Long Island? Was it fun?”

“A little,” Giselle said with a frown. “People have been asking about your whereabouts, especially during the banquet with Vans Corp. You know, Mr. Donovan doesn’t let me off easy.”

Justin laughed. “At least, because of Donovan we have a place that suits my needs.” He leaned toward Giselle. Stroking the top of her head gently. “Thank you, Giselle.”

“I want the fee,” Giselle interrupted quickly.

“Pay?”

“Nothing is free when it comes to me.”

That immediately got a laugh from Justin. But soon, after managing to control his laughter, Justin said, “What are you asking for?”

“Date me after the show. It’s been a while since we’ve enjoyed time together.”

Justin blinked slowly but then, smiling slightly, nodded. “Okay. I’ll do it for you this time.”

“Really?”

“When did I lie to you?”
