Chapter 39 A Broken Car
Chapter 39 A Broken Car
The negotiation would take place at the famous Jinghao Hotel in this city, and the time would be six
o'clock tomorrow afternoon.
I thought the mayor and vice mayor would be there, and I should be early in there to wait, so at 4
o'clock in the second day I drove there with Ben’s car, which was good and stable.
Originally I wanted to be there alone, but Ben was afraid I have an accident so Sabina followed me.
As I was driving, I was thinking about what to say later. The contact with Mayor Chang last night made
me feel a little uneasy. I was afraid that Jacob Jiang would make it difficult to me.
I'm afraid I'll have to pretend to be a coward. Alas, I had different identity and money, but I had to
pretend to be a coward. It annoyed me a lot.
At that moment, a truck suddenly rushed towards me and hit my car like crazy. I was scared out of my
wits and screamed, turning the steering wheel, but the road was so narrow that I would be smashed
into a heap by the truck no matter where I hid.
I was so desperate that I watched the truck grow bigger and bigger in my eyes, and the fool generally
stopped all the movement and let our car swerved toward the truck.
At this moment, Sabina pressed down my neck with a rush and I was pressed to lie on the bottom. Her
soft body fell on my body, with her two soft things on my face. A fragrance came into my nostrils.
Sabina had covered me completely with her body, then reached out a hand and operate the steering
wheel. Our car went directly under the truck. The roof of the car had been gone by the truck. The
window was broken, and the glassed were everywhere.
Four huge wheels were rolling in front of my eyes. I was scared and held her waist.
Sabina glanced at me without changing her expression, turning steering wheel slightly. Our car was
immediately about to bump into the truck but it incredibly changed its direction.
The sky finally appeared again in front of me, and our car went under the truck. The roof was ripped off,
but we survived.
Our car and the big truck came to a halt on the highway.
Sabina gently hit my arm and softly said, “Let go, someone is coming."
I was a little embarrassed to let go of my hand. It was humiliating to hide under a woman's body in a
time of crisis.
At that moment, two strong men jumped out of the truck behind us, each with a stout iron bar in his
hand, walking towards us step by step.
Sabina’s indifferent eyes suddenly burst out a bright light under her long hair, and it unexpectedly
formed a kind of unique elegant demeanor.
As the footsteps approached, Sabina whispered in my ear, "Hide in the car and don't come out." Then I
heard two screams, and then two muffled thumps. There was no sound outside after that.
I found a wrench under the seat, muster up courage to climb from the car, but I saw the two men have
been lying on the ground, with ankle bleeding. The blood had their trousers dyed red. The two men
were painful to the ground. They tried to climb up but they failed.
Sabina was squatting beside a man, wiping the blood on her knife.
Then she stood up and stepped on the shoulders of the two men, accompanied by two sound
crunches, the two men's faces completely were on the ground. They finally fainted.
Sabina came over, asked me in a face of calm, “Are you all right?"
I swallowed and said, "It's okay, it's okay, are they death?"
Sabina said, “They won’t die. Help me to drag them two into the grass."
I did so, I had a fast heartbeat, since I had never killed chicken, but now I had to help her to move the
“body”.
Sabina seemed to be experienced by this kind of things. She pinched the nose of one of the man. The
man woke up, looking at Sabina with a face of terror.
Sabina took the phone out of his pants pocket and stuffed it into his left hand, saying coldly, “You can
call an ambulance. If you call the police, you'll be dead."
Then she pulled my arm out of the grass. The sun was strong but my back was still cold, I said carefully
to Sabina, “Well, I don't know how you do things in other places, but in our country it is better not to do
this or it will cause a big trouble."
"I think we need a car now," Sabina said after looking around.
It was clear that she had ignored what I had said. Text © by N0ve/lDrama.Org.
I looked around. We were on a remote road and it's a long wait if you want to get a ride.
Today was the day of negotiation, but suddenly there appeared a car trying to kill me. It went without
saying that John must have something to do with it. In this city, he was the only one who wanted me to
die and not join in the negotiation.
Just as I was thinking, Sabina had climbed up and down into our battered car to inspect it, and then
clapped her hands and said, "This car still works. Let's drive it there."
I was shocked and stammered, "Drive, this car?"
Sabina turned her head and said to me with a serious face, “Of course, do you know that for
negotiations, time is very important. If the time comes and you do not appear, then there are only two
possibilities, Either you are afraid, or you look down on the other side. Either way will make us passive.
I've heard there are two important people in this negotiation. Do you want them to wait for you there?"
"If you want to stay in S city, get in the car."
Sabina's words are reasonable and well-grounded. I had to obediently follow her to get into the car.
Sabina drove a broken car fast, the wind whistled in my ears. I felt the body floating up, I kept praying
in my heart, “God bless, our car will not be scattered, or I will be fall on the road to death.”
