Fuck that boy
…
Beatrice’s eyes widened out in shock.
Oh, damn!
She is in trouble.
Her heart started to palpitate and she found it almost hard to breathe.
Olivia held onto an indifference expression.
“I.. I am sorry. I truly am, I really didn’t know how.. how the glass slides out of my hold but.. I.. it was not intentional, I’m so sorry.”she apologized quickly.
“No sorrys here, Miss. We are both an elites, so why don’t you just pay for this instead of rendering me an apology?”
Beatrice’s swallowed hard.
“I.. I could clean it up for you, if.. If you want.. but, please.. I..”she stuttered, not knowing what exactly to say.
The music has been brought to an abrupt stop again and all eyes were on them.
“What are you gonna clean it with?. Your tongue?. Then do so.”she proferred her bag to her.
Beatrice blinked rapidly, feeling fidgety.
“I don’t… have any cash with me.. I..”
“Hm?, sure thing! You can transfer me the amount. It’s just $14, 000 worth only.”Olivia seems to know that she wouldn’t be able to pay her so she is just in to disgrace her.
“I…”Beatrice trailed off.
Olivia sniggered and snatched her bag from her then brought out her phone.
“Your pin?”she sloped her weight to her right leg, standing with one side of her bent.
“It’s no big deal, I could..”
“Reimbursing for the loss of my bag is not a big deal too. Now, your password?. I will do the transfer by myself, no worries.”Olivia loved the fear she was seeing in Beatrice’s eyes.
She like it that she is instilling fear in not just only her, but all the people present in the hall.
“I..”how is she to tell her that her account balance is zero?
“I will go get Gregory!”Alyssa chimed into her ears and dashed off.
Beatrice felt reassured after she heard that.
At least, Gregory could afford that amount then bail her out of Olivia’s impeding intention of creating an embarrassing scenario.
“Olivia, I.. understand you are.. wait, okay, fine. Just you leave her alone and I, I would do anything, whatever you want.”Winifred interfered.
Olivia turned to her with a hurtful look.
“You’re willing to become moots with me again because of her?”she scoffed.
Well, Winifred had just escalated the fire.
But, she just felt bad. If only she hadn’t told Olivia that she’s got another man to herself, Beatrice wouldn’t be in this deadly situation as Olivia wouldn’t have walked up to her or notice her, talk less of Beatrice poring a drink on her resplendent bag.
Olivia stepped a little closer to Beatrice.
“Your password?”she repeated in a killing tone.
Seeing Olivia’s black eyes so close to her like this sent cold shivers down her spine as they look like that of a snake.
She looked around.
Why is Gregory not here, yet?
Everyone watched her in pity, but sadly, no one could stand up for her. Only Jennifer and Gregory could confront Olivia, but Jennifer seems to be enjoying the show instead and seems all in for the looming show which would be so blasting!
She giggled to herself.
Winifred poked her rib with pleading eyes.
“Do something, Jenna, huh?”
“Never.”Jennifer cocked an evil smile and Winifred huffed.
Damn this money stuff!
On a regular street, Olivia is no match for her. She would have beat her to a pulp a long while ago.
She balled her hand in a fist, keeping her exasperation in check.
*He will soon come.*Beatrice cajoled herself.
But, it’s better she say something before this lady do the unthinkable.
“Password is angel@24.”she told her in a single breath.
Olivia raised her brows up before locking a strand of her hair on her pinkie finger.
“You don’t look angel, devil would have been better. I’m Olivia, twenty three years of age. It turns out you’re a year older than me.”she quipped.
Sweats formed up on Beatrice’s forehead as she watched as Olivia scrolled up and down on her apps page.
“Found it!”she ticked, clicking on Beatrice’s bank app.
Beatrice gulped down and looked over at the crowd again.
Then, she found him there, with his arms crossed, and with Alyssa beside him, prodding him to go for her aid.Content © provided by NôvelDrama.Org.
The men that came in the last time were beside him too.
With the three of them standing together, the view was heavenly.
But she was too in a tight spot to have admire the trio more as she screamed at him with her eyes to come help her.
Olivia proceeded to go check her account balance when a voice stopped her.
They all turned to where the voice came from and Doreen’s eyes bulged out.
“How much?. I’ll pay for her.”Zack came to where they were.
Olivia rolled her eyes before a scoff slides out of her mouth.
“Why would you do that?”
Zack’s father might not be ranked after her father or any of their father, but their fathers all hold his father with dignity.
His father is a successful lawyer, popular among the rich folks. A competent lawyer who doesn’t give a sh! t about these rich folks, just his business.
He is on the number ten on the list but holds and emits some importance among the affluent community.
Zack is going in his father’s steps too.
“Just because.”he smiled.
Olivia thrusted Beatrice’s phone in her arms and threw her bag down on the floor then walks out of the room.
Jennifer shook her head in disappoinment and gave a long sigh.
Seems today is not the day.
Zack pressed his lips together and glanced back at Olivia.
“Bet you were super scared?”he said to Beatrice who held onto a cold look.
She turned it into a warm expression and coyed up a smile at him.
“Thank you, sir. I appreciate.”
“No need for appreciations.”he grinned before disappearing into the night.
And that was it, the party continued but Beatrice was still not at ease.
The expression on Gregory’s face keeps popping into her head, turning her stomach into a burning flames.
Was he really gonna let Olivia disgraced her?.
She scoffed.
And, he thought that wouldn’t affect him too?
Now, she actually wished Zack didn’t come to help her.
If Olivia had checked her account balance and see the big zero there, then everyone would know she is a nobody and that certainly would taint his career too.
She wore a triumph smile.
Fuck that Boy.
