Chapter 0035
Following her discussion with Melanie, Amara decided to swing into action the very next day. As she got ready for work, her phone began ringing, indicating an incoming call. Picking it up, Amara couldn't help but arch her brows when she saw who was calling.
It was none other than Fiona the witch.
"What the hell does she want now?" Amara muttered, not bothering to answer the call. She wasn't in the mood to deal with Fiona, nor did she have the time.
Ignoring the call, Amara put her phone in her pocket and walked out the room, heading for the living room where a note was placed.
"Gone to work, don't forget to have breakfast." Melanie's note read.
Amara chuckled and hurried to put a few things in her mouth. As she walked out the door, the persistent ringing and vibrating of her phone had her reaching into her pocket and picking it up in a rather frustrated manner. "Now except you're calling to tell me all about the tales of you repenting, I'd advise you keep the fucking call, Fiona, cause I don't have time for you." With that said, Amara was about to hang up when Fiona literally yelled. "Wait!"
The shout had Amara flinching and pulling the phone a few inches away from her ear, before slowly returning it to her ears.
"What? Are you actually calling to tell me you've repented? You wanna apologize?" Amara mocked as she walked to her car, threw her bag in the back seat and started the engine.
"Apologize? Why the hell would I apologize?" Fiona arrogantly said, earning a silent chuckle from Amara as the bitch was finally showing her true colors. "If anything, you're meant to apologize! You're the reason why Celestine tried taking her life. You're the reason why she's in the hospital now."
Amara's brows furrowed after hearing this. Celestine had tried doing what? And how the hell does that have anything to do with her.
"I think you've got the wrong person Fiona. No matter how much I dislike Celestine, I have never and would never do anything to her that would push her that far." Amara clarified.
But obviously, Fiona wasn't buying it.
On the other end, she scoffed as she paced back and forth, visibly angry "You have nothing to do with it? You think I'd believe you just because you said so? Don't forget Amara, I know your true nature. You're a
slimy snake who would do whatever
to get what you want."
"I've seen your kind so many times; you act all innocent and dignified in public, but in reality you're a gold digging bitch who can wait to dig up the wealth of every man you seduce. A bitch like you-"
"Fiona," Amara's tone was calm and
controlled, but the irritation was crystal clear. "I have no clue what

accusations around and running my mouth like an uneducated idiot."
Fiona was stunned into silence, but the fury she felt didn't leave her. "You bitch-!"
"Yeah, go ahead, curse at me for all you want, I'm sure listening to this call recording, my lawyers would have a gun filled day, right after I sue your ass for Libel."
Fiona scoffed in disbelief. "You...you think I'm going to be afraid of those penny change lawyers you get by sucking some old man's dick? Have you forgotten who my brother is?"
Amara rolled her eyes. Like hell she could. That bastard's face was on billboards, newspapers and even business interviews. It would take a fool to forget who he is, and a bigger fool to forget how he had mistreated her.
"You can go ahead and call all the poor lawyers you want, but you see, a gold digging bitch like you can never win against me. I'd do you good to keep that in the back of your mind while sucking dick."
