His Ex-wife Is An Heiress (Amara and Tobias)

Chapter 0051

Staring at the flowers brought about a feeling of anger Amara didn't know resided in her body.Content held by NôvelDrama.Org.

Why would Tobias send her flowers?! He had ignored her the entirety of their marriage, leaving her to always be the one doing the gift giving, so why now was he sending flowers to her office.

A small part of Amara wanted to think that it was because of the incident yesterday, but as soon as such a thought crossed her mind, she was reminded of the message she later shared with Tobias, that same night.

An hour after she laid In bed, wishing the world would open up and swallow her for the embarrassing ordeal, Amara had gotten a message.

She rolled over and grabbed her phone, not expecting the message to be from Tobias and sure as hell, not expecting it to be one 'Demanding', get it, 'demanding', not requesting, a collaboration with Synergy and the worse part, it was for Celestine, who coincidentally wanted to be the brand model for their new product launch.

The entire thing sparked rage within Amara and without so much as thinking, she replied to the message with a big fat 'no'.

After which, Tobias was blocked and his number deleted.

Amara was sure that would be the last she would hear of him, on that useless topic, until now at least.

Taking a look at the flower once again, Amara realized that this was Tobias's futile attempt to get her to agree to the deal he had presented.

She scoffed and threw the bouquet back on the table.

How stupid, Amara thought. Firstly, she wasn't one to mix up her personal life with her business life. If she had problems with someone in her personal life, she'd like to keep those problems away from her business life. Meaning if Tobias had played his cards right, which he hadn't, and assured her enough profit to raise the company's profit margin, the original goal from the start, she would have considered letting Celestine...

Nah, that one is definitely a big fat lie.

Secondly, Amara hated Blue Lilies. Although they were beautiful, the sight of it made her nauseous as it brought back unpleasant memories of what had happened to her when she was younger. She only pretended to like them because Tobias had once complimented her with them, saying it brought out the color in her eyes.

I'm reality, she liked orchids, roses, sunflowers and even lavenders. But, not Blue Lilies.

So sadly for Tobias, his attempt to bride her had failed even before he tried it.

"Duncan," Amara called out to her assistant who just walked into her office with a cup of coffee ready for her taking.

"Yes, Madam?" Duncan asked and handed her the cup, which she gladly took.

"Please have this removed from my office and thrown away."

"This, madam?"

Amara nodded and pointed at the flowers. "And inform the security to block the person responsible for this from ever stepping foot into the building."

"Yes, madam," Duncan nodded and went ahead to remove the bouquet.

When he was gone, Amara turned to her laptop and turned it on. She was planning to do some work, however, she got a call from Melanie. "Hey, what's up?"

"I got Jason's schedule." Melanie informed, earning herself a nod of approval from her best friend.

"Perfect, what does he have today?"

"Nothing until after Friday. He plans on heading to Giovanni around

like

dinner time, obviously to take a few drinks, get wasted, mess around the bastard he is, before returning home to hit his poor wife." The spite in Melanie's voice as she spoke was hard to ignore and Amara felt bad.

"Alright," She began. "Then that's when I'll approach him." The silence that lingered on the other end showed that Melanie still wasn't a fan of Amara going near a scumbag like Jason. "Have you gotten your hacker friend to cook up a virus?"

"He's working on it. Says the virus will get rid of everything on the device, including pictures, videos, calls, text, contacts and any form of social media account that might have been synced." "Sounds like something we can work with." Amara was impressed, the guy seemed to have covered everything.

"He does have a way with tech. I'll bring you the flash drive containing the virus once it's done."

Amara nodded. "Sure."

Silence once again. "Do you have a plan B? You know, in case this goes South?"

"It won't." Amara was confident it wouldn't. "So please, stop worrying like you're my mother." She chuckled, but Melanie didn't.

"I just hope it doesn't. I'll see you around, Mara."

"Okay, bye."

Melanie hung up and Amara sighed. She knew her friend was worried, she was worried too, but she was willing to put aside that worry and see this through, come what may. And even if she needed a plan B, she'd work around that when the time came, but even she wished she wouldn't need a Plan B, because Plan B's were always pleasant.

It was Friday night and Amara sat in her car, in the parking lot of Giovanni's. Her gaze was fixed on the entrance of the parking lot as she waited for Jason's car to pull in.

It took a little while, but eventually, his car showed up and Jason proudly hoped out and headed into Giovanni.

Amara took a deep breath before

she stepped out and took off the

jacket that she wore over her dress revealing the skin tight red dress beneath, one that had a large cleavage, showing off the curve of her breasts.

She also had her hair down and was wearing red lipstick. She had her phone and the flash drive with the virus on her.
