Chapter 279
lan felt an indescribable tickle in his heart, like a feather brushing against it. It was like a gentle breeze had created ripples in a calm lake. At that moment, lan suddenly felt like the whole world had disappeared.
All he could focus on were Willow’s delicate feet–small and smooth, they stirred intense emotions within him. His heart, usually steady, began to race wildly.
lan tried to calm himself by placing a hand over his chest, but the strange feeling persisted. It was like something within him was struggling to break free, making his heart beat faster and faster.
He was sure he didn’t have any strange interests, absolutely certain that it wasn’t anything like a foot fetish. Yet, Willow’s feet had a powerful effect on him, leaving him rooted to the spot.
Her slim ankles were adorned with slightly long silver anklets that hung gracefully. As she gently swung on the swing, the rhythmic movement of the anklets made her ankles seem even more delicate and
tempting, making lan want to hold them for a lifetime.
Willow’s long, graceful legs peeked out from above her ankles but were mainly hidden by her flowing sheer skirt. This element of mystery only made her more alluring, stirring lan’s infatuation to a fever pitch.
“Boss, I’ll get the car!” Eric announced.
Still, he noticed lan hadn’t budged.
Usually the epitome of grace and poise, lan stood frozen as if under a spell. His dark eyes gleamed with an unfamiliar intensity, leaving Eric to wonder wh NôvelDrama.Org content rights.
was unfurling in lan’s mind.
Suddenly, Eric’s heart leaped in his chest. He quietly covered his face with his hands, realizing instantly
that lan must have been shocked by the sheer hideousness of the influencer on stage.
Given lan’s remarkable composure in reigning in his emotions, the fact that he looked bewildered made Eric think that the influencer on stage must be seriously ugly.
Curiosity tugged at Eric, yet he hesitated to steal a glance at the person on stage, fearing he’d be haunted
by the sight for eternity.
“Boss, are you alright?” Eric called out cautiously.
However, lan remained as still as a statue. He reached out to nudge lan, only to halt mid–air, remembering
lan’s aversion to even the slightest touch.
Reluctantly retracting his hand, Eric muttered, “Boss, that influencer on stage, the one who goes by Willow Sanford, must be straight out of a nightmare! Fear not, I’ll make a call right now to ensure she’s blacklisted. I swear she won’t get another chance to assault your delicate senses!”
Eric pulled out his phone, intending to instruct his men to ensure that Willow, whom he disdainfully referred to as “The Nation’s Nightmare“-formerly known as “The Nation’s First Love‘–would be banned from future events to spare others from her visual assault.

As he began to dial, his curiosity gnawed at him and he couldn’t resist glancing toward the stage, only to find himself struck dumb by what he saw.
Standing there was a figure that seemed to have descended from the heavens–an angel or, perhaps, a fairy. Eric couldn’t quite discern her nature, but one thing was undeniable–she was stunningly, disarmingly beautiful.
Willow’s expression was impassive, giving off an exceptional air of detachment. Yet, such aloofness only enhanced her beauty, adding a layer of mystery to her allure that made her even more captivating.
Eric wondered what kind of influencer she was. He thought it was a waste for her just to be an influencer with such striking features. He figured she should be a celebrity.
lan hadn’t noticed Willow’s stunning appearance as he was captivated by her figure. But soon, he realized it wasn’t merely her physical beauty that mesmerized him. It was the air she projected, a certain quality of
her demeanor.
