Chapter 173 Offering to Tie His Bow Tie
Chapter 173 Offering to Tie His Bow Tie
"Tell me, what did you go through after all those days on the island?"
Andrew looked at the skinny lady tormented by nightmares. His heart was on the verge of heartache,
and he wanted to share her suffering so much.
Sarah might not have known that she would have such a terrible dream, muddled in the same place
and gasping for breath rapidly.
Seeing that the person beside him is Andrew, she instantly embraced him, "You're here..."
It was the kind of love after a disaster that almost robbed her life, she looked surprisingly at him.
Eventually, the man heard her words, and a half-strand of suspicion went around the tip of his heart.
"I've always been there."
He stroked her head. His tone was faint.
Sarah looked very weak, it was the paleness after a nightmare, overflowing with a gloomy air.
Underneath her eyes, her entire body was blue-grey. She was obviously mentally ill.
"I... I just had a nightmare."
She let go of him and thrust her hands into her hair, feeling her head incredibly painful.
It was like cells trying to break into two, forcing itself to leave its complete form.
"I can see it, you're still sad about the baby?"
Sarah was mute and said nothing. She just nodded her head a few times.
"Promise me, from now on, you will only look forward to the future, eh?"
Andrew's tone was serious, like he was lightly coaxing a silly young girl because she didn't get her
most desirable gift.
The woman's beautiful eyebrows swept a trace of reluctance. Her hidden pain was floating on the tip of
her heart. How can she not care about the past?
"Andrew, that's a child, he disappeared in my body. How do you expect me to go on with my life in
peace? My heart was made of flesh, I know pain."
Sarah pointed at her chest. Her miserable eyes were overflowing with glistening tears. She was
aggrieved but did not allow herself to appear in agony. Touching the tears at the corner of her eyes, she
turned her back on him.
Andrew fell into hesitation.
"I'm just worried about you, afraid that you'll be too sad, you understand?"
"I'm going to sleep. I have to go somewhere tomorrow." Sarah ignored him, hugging herself. The corner
of her eyes was filled with tears that made her pillow wet.
Her shoulders trembled slightly. Andrew saw that she was crying. He leaned over close to her, turned
her over, and saw that she was really in tears. However, she was stubborn enough to wipe the tears
away with her own hands.
The long arm drew the tissues placed on the bedside table. One was not enough, so he drew a
second.
He dropped a light kiss on her forehead and patiently explained, "Think about our future, there are still
many children. If you really want children, how about..."Text © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.
His voice extended, and Sarah looked at him.
She threw a piece of tissue that had wiped snot and tears directly at his face, "Get lost."
Sarah kicked him away, using her fingertips to tap the corners of her eyes. She opened her eyes wide
and pursed her lips.
Behind her back, a warm embrace came suddenly. Andrew did not tease her anymore, hugging her
slim, weak waist. "Well, whenever you want, I'll just do it, okay? I’m not forcing you."
"Andrew, you know, since I lost that child, every… day I live an exhausting life. I don't know why I am
so tired."
All the hardships were coming to her. What is the point of such a life?
One by one, the things within her ability were betraying her. The things that she could not avoid, the
things that she could not control, happened to her one by one.
She sometimes felt that her existence was probably the most unsatisfactory work of God.
All her life, she had been whipped with reality.
"Don't think like that."
Above her head, Andrew's voice was soft and slow. He placed his chin on her head, with another hand
resting on her.
The deep voice from his throat slowly diffused into her ears, causing her to become relaxed all over.
Sarah couldn't resist this deliberately provocative sound of his, so she said, "I'm going to sleep,
goodnight."
She moved her head slightly a few times, but he would move her back. His bearded chin rubbed
against her smooth forehead, "Good night, Mrs Bask."
...
Once he woke up, there was a drastic change
"Andrew, you're awake?"
When Andrew hazily opened his eyes, he saw Sarah squatting on the ground, looking at him
expectantly with a pair of eager eyes.
This wasn't bizarre. What was bizarre was that Sarah would wake up before him.
Never ever before!
"Up so early?"
The man's deep brows quickly sobered. He got up and looked at her.
"Couldn't sleep, so I got up early."
She held half of her chin up and kept just looking at him, with eyes that were so strange that the man
was felt a little uncomfortable all over.
Andrew rubbed his eyes and told himself it wasn't a dream.
"Have you had breakfast,"
"No. She shook her head and pursed her lips. "Grandpa looks like he blames me. I’m afraid to go out."
"Wait for me to go out with you."
"Alright."
The woman dressed up to the sofa quietly. Through her eyes, nobody knew what she was thinking. Her
mouth kept murmuring.
Andrew quickly changed into his clothes. While he was tying his bow tie, Sarah came forward, "I'll do
it."
She tiptoed and slightly pursed her lips. She took over that tie knot he hadn't finished and continued on
as she did it, "I've learned it before, so I've always remembered it. Today, it awakened my memory."
Within a few seconds, that delicate tie knot was beautifully tied.
Andrew looked at her deeply, his fingers twisted the bow tie. It was not deformed but still remained as it
was.
"So, the bow ties you used to tie for me were all fake?"
"Huh?" Sarah was slightly confused, her eyes were hollow and unfocused.
"Never mind. He took her waist, pressed it to his chest, and led her downstairs.
Downstairs, the old man was there, still having his morning tea.
Sarah subconsciously tugged on Andrew's hand and looked at him cautiously. Sending him eye contact
back and forth, clearly indicating if she wanted to sit down and eat breakfast together.
"Bring up all of today's breakfast."
Andrew pressed Sarah to sit right beside him, and said indifferently, "You eat something light, try not to
eat anything that will stimulate."
The maid's face was somewhat embarrassed and whispered, "Young Master, today the Old Master
said he would not make breakfast, so we did not do anything."
Upon hearing that, Andrew's face immediately changed, staring at the old master.
"What for?"
In the meantime, the old man looked at Sarah with a high brow, "You can't even protect my grandchild,
and you still want to eat? Sarah, I'm telling you. Don't forget what I told you."
The woman looked at the glass of water in front of her and lowered her eyebrows, "Yes, grandpa, I
know I'm wrong."
"Knowing that you’re wrong will make everything fine? Where's my grandchild? It's fine in your belly,
and then it's gone!" The old man didn't reprimand her last night, but purposely saved it all for this
morning.
