Chapter 737 Family
Colin's love words had never been the kind of vows of eternal love.
They were like a spring rain, like a warm wind, not strong, but let her always feel that she was loved.
Faye did not answer but held Colin more tightly.
Colin chuckled in her ear, "Honey, do you love me more and more now?"
Faye said, "Yes." Belonging © NôvelDram/a.Org.
Colin stroked Faye's hair and clasped his hand on Faye's back neck. His voice was deep, and he was
serious, "Me too."
When Colin and Faye drove to Jadon's house, it was time for dinner.
Jadon and the servants were busy in the kitchen. Carlotta was sitting on the sofa holding a plate of
grapes while eating and watching TV.
The servant opened the door for them. Carlotta saw them, put down the grapes in her hands, and
stood up. "Why are you guys late? Didn't you leave work early?"
Faye lowered her head and changed her shoes. She was not good at lying to people close to her. She
simply didn't speak.
Colin said with a faint smile, "Carlotta, there is a traffic jam on the road."
Hearing the traffic jam, Carlotta nodded, "I almost forgot. It's the rush hour now."
Colin laughed back and changed the topic, "Where's Jadon?"
Carlotta said, "In the kitchen."
With that, Carlotta turned to the kitchen and called Jadon.
The next second, Jadon looked out of the kitchen and saw Colin and Faye, smiling politely and gently,
"Colin and Faye are here. Sit first. I'll go out after I have finished."
Looking at Jadon's hands full of flour, Colin gently raised his eyebrow, "Isn't the cook at home?"
Carlotta responded in a low voice, "Yes. He insisted on doing it himself."
Carlotta winked at Colin and took Faye's arm.
Colin understood and smiled but did not continue to ask.
As soon as Faye changed her shoes, she was led to the sofa by Carlotta.
Carlotta handed the grapes on the table to Faye. "Taste them. They are very sweet."
Faye took one to her mouth. As soon as it reached her mouth, Carlotta suddenly grabbed the grape
from her hand and patted her on the back of her hand. "Did you forget to wash your hands?"
Jiang paused and responded, "Yep."
Carlotta said, "Go and wash your hands."
Faye smiled, "OK."
After a while, Faye came back from washing her hands. Carlotta handed her the grapes, and then took
the nut plate aside to peel patiently.
Faye said, "Carlotta, it's almost time for dinner. You are eating so many nuts now. Will you be able to
eat dinner later??"
Carlotta looked up at Faye, "I peeled it for you."
Faye smiled, "I'm not hungry."
Carlotta put the nuts she had peeled into Faye's hand. "Try them."
Since last time, Carlotta had never hidden her love for Faye.
It seemed that she wished she could make up for all her previous debts.
Faye was not unaware, but she could not point it out.
She knew that Carlotta really wanted to make up.
Faye and Carlotta were talking in the living room. Colin took off his coat, pulled up his shirt sleeves,
and entered the kitchen. "Jadon, shall I help you?"
Jadon looked back, "No, you go out and sit down and chat with Carlotta."
Jadon was a novice in cooking. He fried a hairtail and covered his face with flour.
Colin saw this and ridiculed, "Jadon, if Abbot was one-third as good as you, he would have married
Rebecca."
Jadon sneered, "They haven't made progress yet?"
Colin said, "Yes, but not much."
Jadon smiled and was about to say something when he suddenly turned to stare at Colin, "Don't call
me my name. Call me uncle, OK?"
