Remorse After Breaking Up

Chapter 451

Chapter 451

Everyone was stunned after seeing this scene.

Even Clara and Artemis were no exception, their mouths agape with eyes filled with shock and disbelief.

The person who had struck was an advanced-level warrior. He had put all his strength into a punch aimed at Sebastian's head. Yet, Sebastian was unscathed, while the attacker was left vomiting blood from the impact.

This convinced everyone of Sebastian's earlier claims; those who had broken their hands and feet really did get injured when trying to hit Sebastian.

What kind of monster was he? His defense was terrifying!

"Who would've thought that a lackey like you was actually a hidden expert? Let's see how strong you really are!" As she recovered from her shock, Clara suddenly felt a surge of murderous intent.

She drew a dagger and lunged at Sebastian.

As the eldest daughter of the Strauss family, her talent might not surpass Artemis. Even so, she was still one of the top three among the younger generation, a grandmaster.

Now, she aimed the dagger at Sebastian's neck, clearly intending to kill him.

The situation happened so suddenly that Artemis had no time to stop it.

Just as the dagger was about to pierce Sebastian's neck, he suddenly acted. He swiftly grabbed Clara's wrist.

Clara was utterly horrified. "Let go, lackey!"

As she spoke, she kicked Sebastian in the stomach.

Sebastian could have dodged it easily, as Clara's attack seemed slow to him.

If he wanted, he could have easily killed her.

However, with his current memory loss, he didn't want to escalate things. So he took the kick and stepped back, letting go of her wrist.

However, his restraint didn't earn Clara's gratitude; instead, it made her furious with shame.

"How dare you fight back, lackey? I'll kill you!" Clara attacked again, swiftly reaching Sebastian and aiming the dagger at his heart.

Sebastian felt helpless. Just as he was about to retaliate and teach her a lesson, a shout of anger came from not far

away.

"Stop!" At the same time, a force shot out, striking Clara's dagger with a clang. The force sent the dagger flying

from her hand.

Everyone turned to see a middle-aged man striding over.

"Dad!"

"Uncle!"

"Mr. Cleef!"

Everyone quickly bowed in respect, for the newcomer was Cleef, the patriarch of the Strauss family.

"Clara, what were you doing just now?" Cleef demanded harshly.

"Dad, you have no idea how vile this person is. He not only attacks people but dares to defy me openly. He deserves to die!" Clara replied coldly.

"Is that true?" Cleef asked Sebastian.Original content from NôvelDrama.Org.

"No," Sebastian denied with a shake of his head.

"Then explain what happened," Cleef commanded. So, Sebastian recounted the events in detail.

"Dad, he's lying! Ask those injured housekeepers," Clara insisted.

Cleef turned to the housekeepers, who were trembling with fear. "Is he telling the truth?"

They wanted to lie, but they didn't have the courage in front of Cleef.

Seeing this, Cleef understood and said, "This matter ends here."

Clara was still unwilling to let it go but had no choice.

Cleef then turned to Sebastian, his eyes sharp and piercing.

For most people, this would be intimidating even for grandmasters. Yet Sebastian remained calm.

A cold glint flashed in Cleef's eyes. In the next second, he suddenly lunged, grabbing at Sebastian's neck.
