Psychological Torture
This….
This was much more worst than physical torture.
It was a psychological torture where the eyes are wide opened in the dark but can’t see a thing.
The room’s pitch-black darkness caused distress as Mahogany sat on the chair, her eyes unable to detect any hint of light. The absence of illumination pained her vision and posed a significant risk; prolonged exposure to such conditions could result in permanent blindness. The experience she endured surpassed mere mortality.
The room enveloped Mahogany in a suffocating shroud of impenetrable darkness. Not a single glimmer of light pierced the oppressive void that surrounded her. Every corner, every surface, was consumed by this inky blackness, rendering her sight useless in the absence of any discernible source of illumination.
Wide-eyed, Mahogany strained to perceive even the faintest trails of light, but her efforts were in vain. The room seemed to devour any semblance of brightness, leaving her with nothing but a disorienting veil of obscurity. The very act of opening her eyes became an exercise in futility, as the overwhelming darkness pressed against her fragile retinas, causing a searing pain that threatened to engulf her entire being.
As the minutes stretched into hours, and the hours into days, Mahogany became acutely aware of the psychological torment that this lightless prison imposed upon her. The absence of visual stimuli left her mind to wander aimlessly in the vast expanse of nothingness, her thoughts echoing through the emptiness of the room. She found herself yearning for even the simplest glimpse of light, an ephemeral glimmer to anchor her sanity amidst the abyss.
She wasn’t allowed to sleep, though the room was dark but she didn’t know how the people knew she was about to fall asleep, just when her eyelids closes, a sharp pain would spread in her throat. as the natal around her neck was an electric iron.
Her eyes had turn red due to the days of sleepless nights, she was stuffed with food but wasn’t given Water to quench her thirst.
She felt dead, she was about turning blind, starved and thirsty and not allowed to see light.
Yet, the darkness persisted, unyielding in its grip. Days turned into nights, and nights into an interminable cycle of perpetual gloom. The weight of this solitary confinement bore down on Mahogany’s spirit, threatening to crush her will. She could not escape the gnawing fear that, if subjected to this relentless darkness for much longer, she would lose not only her sight but also a fundamental part of her identity.
In the depths of her despair, Mahogany contemplated the true magnitude of her predicament. It became apparent that this torment surpassed the mere bounds of mortality. It was a form of suffering that transcended physical pain, delving into the recesses of her psyche. The absence of light, the deprivation of any visual connection to the world tside, was stripping away her sense of self, leaving her adrift in an unfathomable void.Belongs to (N)ôvel/Drama.Org.
Four days had passed since her confinement began, and the darkness showed no signs of relenting. The prospect of permanent blindness loomed ominously over Mahogany, threatening to extinguish the very essence of her existence. With each passing moment, her fear intensified, mingling with a profound sense of helplessness.
In this bleak, lightless chamber, Mahogany clung to a dwindling flicker of hope. Though dim and fragile, it remained a beacon of resilience with intelligence.
Meanwhile in a Dungeon at the Ron’s warehouse where Alexander keep weapons.
Ash was tied to a bed as she has being there since she was taken away by Alexander’s men.
She didn’t know what they wanted to do with her and she was so scared.
She wonders why her father hadn’t come for her yet, she was about loosing it.
she was not only starving but thirty for water, she was in this particular bed for ages now with no hope of escaping, the room was well lit, she couldn’t hear any sounds and her clothes were sticky to her body because there was no source of ventilation nor air conditioner to keep the room warm.
She felt itchy all over and very uncomfortable, she scream her lungs every now and then but it seems as if she was no longer in the planet earth as nobody came for her nor hear her out, she couldn’t even hear the sound of needles or water droplet.
This was much more difficult to bear!
Just then a clicking sound echoed, and she jolted in fright and both delight, she had thought she might have probably gone deaf because of the days of not hearing anything but it seems that part of her was still efficient.
She tried to look up to see who was at the door as it was already opened but she couldn’t move too much because of the tight ropes around her body.
She was tied to the bed like the way bags of onions are tied in a truck heading to India.
Alexander slowly walked up to her, she scanned him as her eyes brimmed in tears.
He was wearing a black down coat with black torso and black shirt as if he was…..
Mourning someone!
Ash’s heart clenched as she thought of that but she wasn’t regretting any of her actions Atleast she was able to wipe Amelia out of the picture and seems that Alexander had finally come to his senses and came to get her!
Alexander had a serene expression without a single ripple, he looked more thinner and his beards had overgrown unlike before when he didn’t have hairs on his jaw.
His hair wasn’t properly combed as he was busy these days, before coming to the warehouse, he had heard from the news that Mr Robertson had tried to fight with his wife Marion, due to frustration and Marion who her limbs were broken, stabbed Mr Robertson in the chest and he died before help could come and Marion was arrested and would undergo trial three days from then.
Alexander made Phoenix take over as the lawyer to defend Luke as if he was seeking justice for him and make sure Marion rots in jail without help.
Jolie was taken in by her mother’s drunk brother who was a gamble addict, her life was left in God’s hands.
“A-Alex..” Ash called as her voice came out hoarse because of thirst for the past days, her throat was painful as she tried to call his name but Alexander just looked at her in contempt.
Ash was startled with that look….
What was going on with him?? Didn’t he come to take her back??!
