Three Year To Love (Emma Johnson and Ethan Carter)

Chapter 100

Chapter 100

Olivia Brooks had thought about pretending to be sick at home in the hopes that Ethan Carter would take an interest in her. But now, she can’t stay.

“Mom, I won’t talk to you for a while, I’m going out.” She said briefly, hurriedly cleaned up, and headed out the door. When Olivia Brooks tried to continue with something else, Olivia Brooks was gone. This content belongs to Nô/velDra/ma.Org .

When she rushed to the office, Ethan Carter was sitting in his office with a grim, serious look on his face.

Olivia Brooks stood outside the office and knocked lightly on the door.

“Come in.” The low, magnetic voice immediately echoed through the room, and Olivia Brooks pushed her way,in after receiving permission.

“Ethan, I suddenly felt sick this morning, so I came down late.” She said in a weak, petulant voice.

“Since the body is not feeling well, you should rest at home. In addition, I hope you can explain things clearly with your mom. You should know what happened this morning, I don’t want this to happen again in the future.” Ethan’s tone was cold, and he slowly raised his head, his sharp gaze falling on Olivia Brooks in unflinching warning.

Olivia Brooks was stunned for a moment, sure enough, Ethan was still angry because of this incident. In her heart, a wave of aggression surged up.

“Ethan, I really didn’t know that my mom would suddenly come to the company. As a mother, she didn’t have any other ideas, she just didn’t want me to be wronged.” Her eyes glittered with crystalline tears, and she explained in a self–righteous and condescending manner.

“Well, take care of that in the future, and you go on out.” Listening to Olivia Brooks‘ voice with a sobbing tone, Ethan’s heart became more irritated, his brows slightly frowned, and he lowered his head to continue looking at the documents in front of him.

Olivia Brooks coldly draws the corner of her mouth, unwillingly retreats from his office.

Throughout the day, Emma Johnson was distracted, and finally made it to the end of her shift. After finishing her work, she simply cleaned up her workstation and left the company.

As Emma waited at the bus stop, the black car pulled up in front of her. A look of disgust flashed across her face, and she looked around, pretending to be oblivious.

The window slowly drops, revealing Ethan’s handsome face. He stared silently at Emma and said, “Get in.”

Emma is deaf, standing still as if she hasn’t heard a thing. It was a move that challenged Ethan’s patience.

“If you won’t get in the car, then we’ll just stay here.” Ethan looked like he wouldn’t stop until he reached his goal, and directly parked the car in front of the bus stop.

Not far from the bus is coming, if he does not go, the bus will not have a place to stop. In order not to delay others, Emma finally gave in and reluctantly got into Ethan’s car.

When Ethan saw her getting into the car, he couldn’t help but see a hint of amusement in his eyes.

“I’m really sorry about today. I got this especially for you.” He was the first to break the silence in the car, pulling out a pre–prepared decongestant.

Emma looked at the decongestant in his hand, a look of disdain on her face. “Forget the decongestants, Ethan, I really want you to deal with your feelings. It would be nice if you married Olivia Brooks as soon as possible, so she doesn’t have to be paranoid and come after me all the time.”
