True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz)

Chapter 2278

Chapter 2278

After a while, they arrived at Claudia's small residence. From Sebastian's expression, it seemed like he was in a bad mood. The atmosphere in the car was terrifying too.

As they drove into the underground garage, Claudia did not say anything. She only told Sebastian, "I've sent the unit number to your phone. You can go up first. Cordon, come with me to get the takeout."

At that moment, Sebastian was stunned. The desserts were stuffed into his hands once more, then Claudia and Cordon left.

Sebastian fumed as he watched their retreating backs. As he looked at them, he narrowed his eyes. Then, he turned toward the elevator.

Five minutes later.

Sebastian knocked on the door.

The moment Sylvia opened the door and saw him, she was surprised. "Where's Claudia?"

Sebastian walked in and saw Kendrix. Sebastian was quite surprised, but he still greeted him politely. "Mr. Trevino. As I guessed, you really are

here."

Kendrix nodded slightly. He was very calm as he said, "Yes. What a coincidence to meet you here."

"It's not a coincidence," Sebastian replied in a low voice. "I specifically came here to meet you, Mr. Trevino."

Seeing how frank he was, Kendrix smiled. He walked over and took the cake from Sebastian, saying, "Come on in."

Sylvia turned around and asked curiously, "Where's Claudia? Didn't you see her?"

"She'll be up in a while," Sebastian answered.

"Oh, okay," Sylvia murmured and nodded, heaving a sigh of relief.

Sylvia closed the door. There were only the three of them in the apartment.

Sebastian put down the things in his hands, then looked at Sylvia and said, "Sylvia, pour me a glass of water."This content provided by N(o)velDrama].[Org.

Sylvia was surprised. She asked directly, "Sebastian, are you trying to get rid of me?"

Seeing how alert Sylvia was, he knew that she was protecting Kendrix.

He looked toward Kendrix.

Still as calm as ever, Kendrix told Sylvia, "Sylvia, go and get Sebastian a glass of water. He looks like he's in need of a drink." "But," Sylvia protested. She was still a little reluctant to leave. She was worried that Sebastian would make things difficult for Kendrix.

Kendrix shook his head and shot her a reassuring look.

Only then did Sylvia relax a little.

She nodded and said, "Okay."

Then, she went to the kitchen to give them some privacy.

Sebastian glanced in the direction that she headed to, knowing that she would return soon.

"Is there anything you want to tell me? Just say it. Let's not waste time," said Kendrix frankly.

In truth, Kendrix could guess what Sebastian wanted to say.

"Are you in a relationship with my sister?" Sebastian asked.

Kendrix looked at him and nodded. "That's right."

"Oh," Sebastian echoed. He did not expect Kendrix to admit it so readily, and he was a little shocked. "Don't you know how old she is?" "Age is not a problem," Kendrix replied. "It won't affect a relationship at all. However, there are certain boundaries that I won't cross." Kendrix's way of explaining things could be regarded as a reflection of his attitude.

Sebastian was dumbfounded.

As he looked at Kendrix, he felt the urge to ask something.

"Is age really not a problem?"

"It never has been," Kendrix said seriously. "I think the age difference makes us cherish each other even more."

Sebastian nodded. "I understand. I can tell that you've thought about this very thoroughly, Mr. Trevino."

Kendrix nodded. "That's right. I did think it through."

"Are you sure about that?"

"I won't let Sylvia down. I'll never leave her for the rest of my life. Not unless she wants me to," Kendrix replied honestly.

Sebastian stood up and nodded. "I'll come back up later. Mr. Trevino, you'd better remember not to hurt my sister. Otherwise, no one in our family will forgive you."

Kendrix looked straight into Sebastian's eyes calmly. "Ever since I started a relationship with your sister, I've been sure of it. I won't let her go, not for the rest of my life."

Sebastian gave him a genuine smile. "Thank you for that. I'll be stepping out for a while."

Kendrix raised his eyebrows slightly "May I ask if you're going to look for my cousin?"

Sebastian nodded. "That's right. I'm going to look for her."

That time, he admitted it frankly.

Kendrix smiled. "You should know that if you start a relationship with Claudia, it'll be more difficult than me being in a relationship with your sister."

"I know." Sebastian did not plan to hide anything from the intelligent Kendrix.

He nodded, then turned around and left.

Sylvia was coming out from the kitchen carrying a glass of water. She almost spilled it when she saw Sebastian.

"Sebastian, where are you going?"

"I'm going downstairs to look for your sister-inlaw."

Sylvia almost dropped the cup. "What! Who?"

However, all she got in reply was the sound of the door slamming shut.

At that moment, Kendrix came over and said with a smile, "He probably meant Claudia." "What? You can tell?" Sylvia was stunned. "You saw through it, didn't you?" "Is there anything that can escape me?" Kendrix teased.

Sylvia was stunned by his question. Finally, she shook her head and laughed.

Kendrix hugged her and whispered, "Sebastian seems to have realized something."

"Did he say something to you?" Even though Sylvia did not hear what Sebastian said, she did not get the feeling that Sebastian had made things difficult for Kendrix.

"I told you that he wouldn't make things difficult for us. You were too worried."

"If he really didn't make things difficult for you, then I was really too worried. However, all is fine now. He gave us his blessing, didn't he?" Sylvia tilted her head and looked at Kendrix.

"Of course." Kendrix nodded seriously. "Your whole family wishes us the best. Everyone who loves you will support us."

"I'm glad."Sylvia heaved a sigh of relief.

Downstairs.

Claudia did not go to take the takeout at once. Instead, she chatted with Cordon as they walked.

"Thank you for helping me out today. I troubled you by making you pretend to confess your love to me. I know that I'm not your type. You were just helping me," Claudia said with a smile.

Cordon was stunned. He seemed to have seen how smart Claudia was from her smile.

A smart man himself, Cordon could tell that Claudia was rejecting him.

He smiled too and said, "If you know that I was helping you, then you should treat me better."

"Of course! Since you're such a good friend, I'll surely repay you," Claudia replied, her expression relaxing at once.

"Tell me. How did you fall in love with such a young boy? He's a lot younger than you, right?" Cordon asked.

Claudia sighed. "Alas! It's hard to

say. Some things just happen onz their own accord. Who here can truly understand love? Let's not talk about that first. We'd better get the food and head upstairs."

Cordon could tell that she did not want to talk about it anymore, so he did not press further.

Sebastian hurried downstairs and called Claudia.

At that moment, Claudia was getting the takeout. Just as she was about to go upstairs, she received a phone call.

When she realized that Sebastian

was the one calling her, she was a little surprised. Was he unable to find the apartment? She had stated the apartment number clearly in her message. If he still could not find it, then he really was an idiot

She answered the call and said, "Hey, couldn't you find the apartment?"

"Claudia, listen carefully. I like you. I, Sebastian Jones, like you!" Sebastian shouted over the phone.
