Unbreakable Love His Passion for Her Transcends Death

Chapter 567

Noah's tantrums would last for a good while if he was to start. But the worst part was that he was genuinely ill and was feeling discomfort. Yvette coaxed him patiently, yet he refused to listen. "I just want Mr. Xavier to come stay with us, Mom!"

"Alright then, I'll ask him to come over. Be good." She had no choice but to get up from the bed and head out.

Xavier was still awake and working in his study. She knocked at the door, embarrassed. He stopped working and looked toward the door. Yvette asked, "Are you not done yet?"

"I'll be done soon. Do you need anything?" Xavier asked back.

Yvette mustered up her courage and said, "Come sleep with us after you're done."

Xavier lost all interest in his work as soon as he heard her words. His expression remained the same as he replied, "Alright."

Yvette then returned to inform Noah that Xavier would come soon.

She had expected him to take at least half an hour more. She didn't expect Xavier to come over in his pajamas in a few minutes' time.

Noah immediately rushed over to him when he saw him. "Didn't you say that I was sleepwalking, mister? You better hug me tonight so that I won't wander around!"

Xavier strode over and lay down on the bed.

Noah then patted the other side of the bed and told Yvette, "Can you hug me to sleep too, Mom?"

"Alright," she replied, resigned.

Noah lay in between Xavier and Yvette. Their hands met as they both hugged him. Noah had never felt as happy as he did today. He soon drifted to sleep with both his parents hugging him. Yvette couldn't fall asleep. Under the dim lights, she saw the shallow cut on Xavier's cheek.

She was about to reach out to touch it when he seemingly felt her and reached out for her hand instead. In a hushed voice, he asked, "Aren't you sleeping yet?"

Yvette's hand flinched, yet she did not pull away. "I'm not."

Xavier released her hand to carry Noah up, placing him on his side of the bed. He then shifted closer to her, leaning in.

Yvette was dumbstruck. "What are you doing?"

"We're a married couple. It's normal for us to sleep together," Xavier said as he pulled her into his embrace, completely ignoring Noah at the side.

Yvette couldn't break free from his hold. She lowered her voice and asked, "What happened to your face?"

Xavier replied, "I accidentally got cut by some glass. It's not a big deal."

Yvette assumed that minor bumps and bruises were normal as he couldn't see. As such, she did not press on further.

Feeling somewhat sleepy, she fell asleep in his arms just like that.

When Noah woke up the next day, he finally found himself in the same room. But strangely enough, Yvette and Xavier were sleeping on theContent © NôvelDrama.Org 2024.

the corner.

"Did I actually sleepwalk?" He scratched his head before getting out of bed and went to wash up on his own.

After washing up, he went back to the children's room and called Zachary. "Morning, Zac."

Zachary was still half asleep, rubbing his eyes. "Why did you call me so early?"

He'd done a late-night live stream with Kiki last night, and it had been highly effective. Noah said, "I have something to tell you."

Upon hearing him sound so serious, Zachary thought that his illness had worsened or that something else had happened. He immediately asked, "What happened?"

Noah replied, "I'm planning to forgive Dad now."

Zachary was stunned upon hearing the word "Dad". "Are you kidding me?"

They had promised to stay with Yvette forever and to teach Xavier a lesson once they grew up.

"He's not a bad person at all, Zac. He

even saved me yesterday," Noah

said, feeling warm in his heart when

he recalled Xavier's instinctive reaction when he'd saved him.
